This grow consists of 3 separate mystery seeds that I am growing for a forum competition being held by County Line Genetics. We (close to 50 growers) are doing this as a fun way to test his newest creations and we will not know what the strains are until the end of the competition. The seeds provided had a 100% germination rate but a few were slower to start than others. Everything is looking great so far so I'm excited to see what will come of these seedlings. DNA samples were sent to Delta Leaf Labs a few days ago to determine the sex of the plants so I can cull the males early on and focus on the females. I will select four of the best looking females (best one of each strain plus one extra to fill my 4x4 tent) to put into flower.
The seedlings were started in a 1:1 mix of Fox Farms Happy Frog soil and my own soil mix I've been amending and reusing for about 18 months now to mellow the soil out a bit for the starting seedlings. They've been getting watered with tap water with 1ml/l of CalMag and a low dose of recharge. Once they get transplanted into their final 10 gallon pots they will get that mix hand watered only once a week and will get tap water dripped through Blu-mats 24/7.
@CHILLING_RACOONS, I planted the clover to act as a living mulch layer. It helps keep the top of the soil from drying out, and getting hard, and it also helps the fertilizer I top dress with to get into the soil when I wet it with a sprayer.
