Shiskaberry #2 though planted later than her sister in the tent, finished first. I think I made too many rookie mistakes with her unfortunately. I started training too late and was not gentile enough with my training. I pulled too hard on one of the branches and split her in the middle of her trunk! I think because of my harsh training she got a little over stressed making her want to finish up faster. I will have to remember the "
L" in LST. Still I am satisfied by the amount of trichomes on her. I will have a rosin and smoke review later.
Looking good buddy. I topped mine multiple times in veg and ended up with some absolute bushes. Finishing up my first grow now but I did slightly attribute my short plants to the multiple toppings. Maybe try training them outward and then once you start flower them babies will shoot up (first time grower too but that’s just my perspective) good luck brother ☝️🍃🍀
@millerman543, Thanks, I only topped them once so far but they just want to grow outward lol. I will see how it goes in the next couple of weeks. I plan to keep them in veg for 8-9 weeks depending on the O.G. Kush that was planted last.
Good luck on the grow!
Free unsolicited advice that I wish I heard earlier: VPD is important, keep them in their happy VPD zone & they'll be happier. 0.8-1.0 for early veg, 0.8-1.10 veg, 1.1-1.3 week before flip, 1.2-1.5 stretch (push them during stretch with dry downs if you want), 1.5-1.7 flower to chop day (baby them after stretch, drop lights power/time during last two weeks if you want).
As always, do your own research and have fun with it!
