GD-1 Zkittlez 1st grow

So after drying, trimming, dry ice kiefing, hash pressing, bud smashing rosin pressing, and smoking shit tons of all of it….i have become accustomed to being this high all the time to be able to finish my FIRST EVER GROW AND DIARY….really I have been stalling while the buds have been curing….THEY ARE DOING SO GREAT I HAVENT WANTED TO REMOVE #4 & #1 FROM THE JARS….the others I tried curing by opening more from the start….SO FAR GOOD DRY TO 60% THEN TRIM AND JARS….DONT OPEN AT ALL EXCEPT TO CHECK SMELL ONCE A DAY FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND…..#1 & #4 both are still doing great smelling wonderful like chopped up before you smoke buds…The others don’t have the OPEN JAR WOW SMELL…unless I let them sit cracked open for a fair amount of time…OR IF I PUT THEM IN A BAG OR IN A NUG JAR….then they smell great and smoke fantastic….all pretty much the same SATIVA DOMINANT FOR SURE….EVEN THE 16 WEEK PLANTS ARE STILL A UPPER HIGH…very nice though…relaxing calm, you could even say inventive….THATS #1-#2-#4-#6-#7….they smell and taste great sweet floral maybe a hint of fuel on the back end after blowing out,….#3-#5-#8 well three and five I didn’t not finish right….they never got to really even think about getting to where they could have gone….#8 good results but morphed a bit…I don’t know why or what…had good trichomes but I turned #8 into Hash…smell and flavor was not bad BUT NOTHING LIKE THE OTHERS…smokable but GOT KIEFED AND MADE INTO HASH….#3 I smoked decent some parts need more flushing….#5 pressed into Rosin along with the SMALLS FROM #1 #2 & #4 about 50 grams total lightly trimmed….1st half ounce turned to popcorn literally….IT WAS POPPING AND BLOWING OUT OF THE ROSIN PRESS….another two tries LESS PEESSURE…nope same thing JUST NOT EXPLOSIVE…the bags were melting the weed was a SUPER THIN WAFFER with no plastic in sight and a VOPORIZERED look and smell to it….WHOOPS the PRESS CONTROLLER SOME HOW SWITCHED OVER TO CELSIUS….so we were pressing at close to 400f the bags were rated to 300f…after that it all went perfect once we were at 86c 185f….instead of 186c 380 f ROSINS AND BUDS ARE GREAT…HASH SOLID..BUT STILL PRESSING AND FOLDING ONCE A DAY….it will sit till tomorrow to fold and put back in the vice….SO HERE GOES IM GOING TO OPEN #4 UP AND TAKE PHOTOS OF THE MONSTER COLA…..should have photographed after trimming but I changed my curing method to try something else since my weed was perfectly dried in a cedar closet to 60% and didn’t need any more drying….. HARVEST TIME….For my first grow ever I certainly took the option to explore trial and error methods….GET IT ALL OUT OF THE WAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE…After all is said and done there was just over 600 grams of untrimmed quality weed….that resulted in 14 ounces of tightly trimmed very smokable weed, along with a nice chunk of HASH…I would have been able to get a full pound dried cured tightly trimmed….BUT I DIDN’T REALLY LIKE #8’s SCENT AND FLAVOR PROFILE…so all 75 grams of buds and all the LITTLES from the other four plants up to that point amounting to 168 grams total went to making the DRY ICE KIEF HASH….SOLID RETURN….a lot learned many mistakes made….but the mistakes I made on purpose trying something….FOR INSTANCE FIVE PLANTS COULD HAVE PRODUCED A LOT LOT MORE …I could have easily yielded over TWO POUNDS…but next time I will know where things really are in the full cycle, and what to expect and look for before making certain moves….so let's go over weights… #1 THE RUNT, slow poke…FINISHED GREAT FLAVOR AND SMELL 3rd OVERALL WEIGHT 100 grams untrimmed, bucked weed…POST TRIM 2 FULL OUNCES #2 TOPPED, kept going and going got rock hard filled out well….SOLID FLAVOR AND SMELL 2nd OVERALL WEIGHT 109 Grams untrimmed, bucked weed…POST TRIM 3 FULL OUNCES #3 She was the best looking, but first mistake I took her way to soon…GOOD SMOKE FLAVOR AND TASTE NOT BAD…SOME CHEM TASTE HARSHNESS OCCASIONALLY…didn’t get a FULL SOLID FLUSH…..WEIGHT 53 grams untrimmed and bucked weed….POST TRIM JUST OVER 1 OUNCE #4 The Problem Child...had cal,def early I topped her heavy defoliation early LESS IN FLOWER…amazing plant…TOP LEVEL FLAVOR AND TASTE 1st OVERALL WEIGHT 158 grams untrimmed, bucked weed…..POST TRIM ¼ POUND OF GREAT LOOKING TASTING AND SMELLING WEED…. #5 Short and Stubby…made a big mistake didn’t keep feeding and let go longer….could have been much better…DIFFERENT FLAVOR AND SMELL…more of a BERRY instead of a sweet flower….#5 didn’t get to finish right...GOOD FLAVOR AND SMELL ..WEIGHT 54 grams untrimmed, bucked weed….POST TRIM 1 ONCE ..might get SMASHED IN A PRESS???? #6 SWEETIE, she was pretty good I could have done better with her but I MADE MISTAKES LIKE OVER DEFOLIATION AND TRAINING AFTER TOPPING….but #6 FANTASTIC FLAVOR AND SMELL…WEIGHT 62 grams untrimmed, bucked weed….POST TRIM JUST UNDER 1 & ½ OUNCE…#6 is so yummy I trimmed everything… #7 The thug…#7 finished very good…but better growing technique and LESS DEFOLIATION DURING FLOWERING would have created a monster in #7…but hey I GOT TO LEARN THE 1ST TIME ..#7 VERY NICE FLAVOR AND SMELL ..SMOKED ALMOST AN OUNCE ALREADY ….WEIGHT 74 grams untrimmed, bucked weed….POST TRIM JUST UNDER 2 OUNCES… #8 WHAT THE FUCK??? I don’t know maybe she got to dry once.??I have no idea but she flaked out morphed grew funny…AND GOT THIS MORE COFFEE SMELL TO HER…NOT A GOOD THING …,so #8 WEIGHT 75 grams untrimmed, bucked weed….MADE INTO DRY ICE KIEF HASH …I added an additional 70 grams of littles from the others trimmed plants up to then….THE HASH IS GOOD #8 NOT SO GOOD…I didn’t like her flavor and smell…NOT BAD JUST NOT FOR ME….the HASH is great…35 GRAMS… SO THAT’S MY 1st GROW AVERAGED THE TWO OUNCE PER PLANT TARGET FOR MY FIRST GROW…OVER A POUND IF I HAD TRIMMED #8….but 14 OUNCES OF VERY SMOKABLE WEED AND OVER AN OUNCE OF SOME PRETTY SOLID HASH WITH FIVE GRAMS OF DABS….I’m happy with my effort….. MAIN POINTS LEARNED….dont think things will ever stop growing…keep growing until they are HARD AND FAT…then THE COCO COOL DOWN FLUSH….thats a HALF GALLON OF R/O 6.0 Ph’d WATER EVERY TIME THEY START TO GET DRY FOR TWO WEEKS ..THROW IN ONE HEAVY ONE TO TWO GALLON FLUSH WATERING IF POSSIBLE….otherwise the HALF GALLON EVERY 36/48 HOURS DOES THE TRICK OVER TWO WEEKS TIME….. Defoliation very important…BUT NOT TO MUCH …less in flower means more buds….but still SOME DEFOLIATION FOR LIGHT PENETRATION IS IMPORTANT… 5 GALLON POTS FOR AUTO’S IF YOU WANT TO GROW IT LIKE A PHOTO…meaning BIG TALL FOR A BIT LONGER ..but you don’t have to worry about total darkness…5 GALLONS BETTER THEN THREE…my plants filled the entire 5 gallon pots except for about a half inch from the FABRIC SIDES …very full dense root structure…NO TANGLES BUT NICELY PACKED TIGHTLY INTERTWINED IN THE COCO…. Topping for sure SLOWS YOUR PLANTS DOWN…BUT WILL GIVE YOU MORE WEED FOR SURE….ALL FOUR I TOPPED DID GREAT….and weight of #1 who I took as long as #2 & #4 was at 100….that was third best for a NON TOPPED PLANT…so if #1 would not have been stunted…POSSIBLY WOULD HAVE BEEN BIGGER THEN #4?????? But topping auto’s I say SURE IF YOU WANT MORE WEED ARE WILLING TO GROW A COUPLE WEEKS LONGER, AND ARE GOING TO WATER AND FEED ENOUGH…. THAT WAS MY NEWBIE $1000 BUDGET GROW WITH $119 LIGHTS FROM AMAZON ….not bad for the CHEAPEST BEST STUFF I COULD FIND….got the FREE CYCO nutrients at a 30th anniversary of a local hydro store….BESIDES THAT…ONE POUND WAS WHAT I GOT MY FIRST GROW FOR $1000 POTS GENETICS LIGHTS FANS TENT WATER NUTRIENTS ….. Now that My $1000 budget grow NEWBIE STYLE was a total success….MY NEXT DIARY WILL BE COMING UP GSC & FASTBERRY….i told CYCO I would do a SIDE BY SIDE challenge with the nutrients I was using head to head against The Cyco System….to bad im having problems uploading videos, but I think that’s on my end….thank you for looking and remember to ALWAYS KEEP POPPIN….
