First week of grow, freshly germinated seeds using the paper towel method. Pre-soaked the COCO COIR / PERLITE (70/30) mix in 150% Calmag solution at 5.9 ph. For atleast 8 hours. Planted the seeds in the medium, and gave it a light watering (0,2-0,5L per bucket) using just RO water balanced to 5.9ph Day 0 (11 April 2020) ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 70% Light : 25% @ 60cm for 24h Water : 0,2L per bucket - RO water - Ph at 5,9 Day 1 ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 70% Light : 25% @ 60cm for 24h Water : no water given Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT6hLOaZFgg Day 2 ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 70% Light : 25% @ 60cm for 24h Water : no water given Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2EgRn1jdP8 Day 3 ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 70% Light : 25% @ 60cm for 18/6h Water : no water given Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPkCJ_1kVzA Day 4 ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 65% Light : 50% @ 60cm for 18/6h Water : no water given Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCMgasPSXbU Today we increased intensity to 50% and lowered RH to 65%, we also spotted our first "deficiency?" I think? Day 5 ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 70% Light : 50% @ 60cm for 18/6h Water : First water given (0.5ml/L Voodoo Juice & 0.5ml/L Piranha) Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33vbH86CI7g I gave 100ml to each plant. I will give them a new watering every 12h (so each plant is getting 200ml of water a day). I also put the humidity back at 70% Day 6 ------ Temp : 21-23C RH : 70% Light : 50% @ 60cm for 18/6h Water : Water given (0.5ml/L Voodoo Juice & 0.5ml/L Piranha) Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAyJXe6zBnI We gave another 100ml of feeding water to our plant. We do this twice a day at this stage with a gap of 12h in between. Today we also installed our new SensorPush Hygrometer, because measuring equals knowing! Day 7 ------ Temp : Averaging around 24,5C RH : Between 60 & 70% Light : 75% @ 60cm for 18/6h Water : Water given (0.5ml/L Voodoo Juice & 0.5ml/L Piranha) Video Update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wC75IL-vuU We are still giving 100ml of water for each pot, twice a day. I also changed the pot size from a 22,5L air-pot to a 9L air-pot, this will create better air circulation, because it was packed inside the tent. Since im going with high fertigation method, we will also use less nutrients, because we have to water untill runoff, and with a 22,5L pot thats alot of wasted nutes. I also changed the light intensity to 75% today. Height is still at 60cm. Week 1 - Sumarized ============= In todays video, we do a summarize, of all the things we did wrong and should correct in our next grow. This is a learning experience, so its good we make these mistakes and acknowledge them, that will be prevent us from doing them again next time! Video update : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsSULy7O2CY

Today we are on day 4, and I've noticed that a perfectly healthy girl yesterday, is showing yellowing in her top leaves today. Differences with day 3 is that I switched from 24h lighting to 18/6. The other details u can see in my grow diary.

No yellowing , the light green is visible on new growths in general and the old leaf are darker , it’s the same with manny others plants in the nature , young leaves have « young green color » while they are getting older they are also getting darker. 24/0 is nothing to do with the color and I’ve never noticed a shock On the plants when I was switching from 18/6 to 24/0

What signs to look for to know when your plant went into flower? I'm running an auto, which is not yet in flower, but I want to know what signs to look for!

Befre she'll get into full flowering she will have 2 weeks of crazy grow , they will at list twice taller at the end of that period so that moment is a sign that the plant will soon get into flowering. The 1st pistols will also be visibles during the stretch t show you that the plant will start the process

At what age will u start seeing the sex of the plant? And what to carefully look for? I mean how to identify a male or hermy.

You will see the sex either when the plant will push some pistols during the stretch , either at the end of the stretch when she'll enter the full flowering process. Female have pistols ,male have pollen sacks and hermies have both , check a guide about how to recognize a female cannabis plant.

When can I start doing LST? What is a good indicator that she is ready for LST?

honestly, lst is difficult to get too early.. well, of course not when she doesn't have any real leaves yet, but i have started bending mine as early as 1 1/2 weeks in (best example my current white haze bonsai grow).. remember that if you wait too long the stem might be too thick already and it'll be difficult to shape her (unless you want to do supercropping, but i don't see this as an "lst")..

Should I cut it off? I just put some ductape around it. It snapped on me while doing LST (this is an autoflower) do I want her to put all her energy in fixing that, or should I just take my loss, and let her focus on the other branches, and therefor cut it off?

When is a good time to put the lights on full intensity? I currently have both my leds (Lumatek Zeus 600w pro) at 60cm (24inch) from the canopy and at 50% intensity. Tomorrow my girls enter into week 5 (from seed). So when do I intensify light, and when can I lower to 40cm(15inch

Well, this fully depends on the light and the environment.. The best method would be to actually test the light intensity (PPFD) at the canopy (so what really hits the plant). To get them to flower you'd need at least around 400um/s.. Above 850um/s you'd want to add some extra CO2, so the plant can handle the light intensity properly. Looking at the light you have, that seems to be able to push out 1620 umol/s, so you depending on your environment you might not even want to turn it up all the way, as too much light can actually harm the plant as well.. Do you know the light-color of your LED? No need to buy an expensive apogee quantum meter, but Shane from Migro made a review video about a cheap 30-bucks Amazon par-meter and made a test, comparing it to his Apogee, and then provided a conversion factor for the various light-colors, so you can calculate the LUX to PPFD and save about 470 bucks (compared to the Apogee) ;)

Hello, I keep having issues with 1 big plant, she keeps drooping halfway the day till night, I have no idea whats going on with her. I feed her 1.4EC, she looks good in the morning, but after the second watering (coco/perlite mix) she starts to droop. RH: 55% Temp: 28C Day: 41

From my personal experience, plants droop their leaves straight downwards to limit the amount of light exposure once a certain threshold is reached, ofcourse strain and genetic dependent. What you may be seeing is your plant getting a too high intensity of light and reaching a limit halfway through the day. You would be well aware if the problem was related to over-watering which is hard with a coco/perlite mix in an airpot. I use 20L airpots and a plant that size in warm conditions easily goes through at least 2L of fertigation per day. Distance your lights from the top of that plant by 5cm or more and note the effect within a few days - not much to lose with such an approach. Good luck.

I have 18 girls, how do I determine each individual plant when to stop feeding, and when to flush her? How do I know there is still 2 weeks or 10 days or whatever left before she needs to be harvested?

read each plant individually.. bet you'll be an expert after 1 run, lol.... coco coir doesn't need much of a flush. 3-5 days is plenty. You only know if it is a clone or a lot of familiarity with that specific seed-line. So, autos are always a guesstimate. When it look fairly ripe, initially, it may have 7-10 days left. If trichomes look a long way off, but plant looks ripe, that's a generally good time to think about it. If you only get 2-3 days in coco, that's fine. Get a 30-60x cheapy scope or fancy usb digi microscope for your phone. it'll be handy to know when to harvest... in future remember how it progresses and all the variance you will see in your 18 plants. it'll be an easier guesstimate. impossibly to give precise instructions, unfortunately.
