Despite the fact I only managed to get a couple of nug shots for this diary page, American Pie actually turned out to be my favorite strain in the tent! It sounded amazing on paper when I first discovered it online, having Power Plant and White Widow within its genetics. I was not disappointed with my selection. This has been my go-to strain for pretty much everything. I mostly medicate right before work, to get my mind into a state of euphoria and pure bliss. It's a fantastic mood-enhancer, so if you suffer from depression this strain is for you. An excellent option for pretty much any social setting. I find myself to be generally happy when talking with others while under the influence of the American Pie. To summarize, this strain seriously impresses me. I've been told I'm a difficult person to please but I will absolutely continue growing this strain from harvest to harvest due to the entire experience I had with the strain from seed to harvest, and beyond. It's truly inspiring me to do an American Pie pheno hunt. The reviews that I have received from some of my friends who've tried my Glookies have all been positive. I've asked that they be completely honest with their feedback, so I can only hope that's true. I personally quite like the Glookies. It's beautifully uplifting at first, bringing on a spike of energetic creativity. Not a high-focus strain, by any means. I found myself to be mildly irritable due to my inability to zero in on the task that I was trying to accomplish (In this case it was simply attempting to win games of Apex Legends with my friends). That said, I highly recommend this strain if you are a very artistic person or simply enjoy getting medicated and listening to music. I found that I could smoke Glookies in lighter doses at any given time of the day and still be able to function. However, I found myself enjoying it more often in the late afternoons/evenings when I can get completely stoned and experience the heavier body effects, which aid in pain management and relief from migraines, which I personally suffer from. Jelly Bananen starts out with a cerebral rush, right behind the eyes, then eases into a comfortable state of relaxation on the body while still able to fully function in the mind. Great strain for invoking creativity, social gatherings, and/or playing video games. Aromas of chocolate, cream, and banana flood my nostrils upon opening the jars. This particular strain had a few issues throughout the grow. It was the only strain to respond to the light stress by "nannering", which left me disappointed. I admit that most, if not all, of the issues with my plants stemmed from my lack of experience. I will be growing this strain again in the future once I have zeroed in on my craft as a gardener. This 5-star rating seems almost unfair because I'm a beginner gardener, and I love the effects. I'm strictly going off of GrowDiaries rating chart. I'm sure a much more experienced gardener would really bring out the potential of these genetics.
