Grow Questions

My S.A.D have not looked good for a few days, the leaves are curling up and some of the leaves are turning purple / red. Is that because of the cold? Last week it was very cold and rainy, between 6 and 13 degrees. Over-fertilization is impossible, I have only fertilized minimally

Hi mate, they look a bit cooked. If you're having drastic changes in climate it will cause this. It had a cool week and it looks like it went suddenly hot. She will be fine though, try and keep humidity up on the hot days. It will help keep her in good condition. Good luck and happy growing

Lately I noticed that the leaves of my Sweet Cheese in the lower part of the plant turn yellow and die off. They are in 15l fabric pots and have only been fertilized 3 times with a little Bio Grow. Is it because of the lack of nutrients because they are not getting enough ferti

it's called 'senescence' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plant_senescence https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plant_senescence there's nothing you can do about it it's normal...see all the normal healthy leaves, they all have proper turgidity (osmotic pressure), and no purple stems? taht means everything is going along normally for the plant...they just decide to kill off a leaf here and there every once in a while...nobody knows what causes it. Do not change feedings or waters when the majority of the plant is healthy and growing well. You'd just be chasing something that cant be fixed and mess up what was perfectly fine. ur fine dude dont sweat those few leaves.

Pale green generally means hungry for more than soil and water.

Hi there, Older and lower leaves turning yellow is a sign of nitrogen deficiency. So you need to feed your baby. But be gentle on dosage which can cause overdose.Eventually cut off when she is going into flowering stage.Happy growing... ✌️

My S.A.D has had deficiency symptoms on the lower branches and leaves for a week, doesn't look like a lack of nitrogen, has to be something else. Maybe the drought? Couldn't water for a week because I was on vacation and it was very hot every day

Looks like the heat and bugs got to them. Now you are back i'm sure they will bounce back. Best of luck the rest of the way.

Does it make sense to harvest the plant already or would I lose the yield as a result? So far no signs of mold in contrast to my other plant of this variety. The weather is reported to be rainy in the near future

You're gonna lose out if you harvest now my friend! .. these girls gonna pack a lot weight in the coming month or so .. I would at least wait 3 more weeks if I were you.. some genetics grow really light green to yellow in the end stages of life, nothing to worry about.. just make sure you pump some extra nutrients in for the last sprint! And flush after two weeks from now give or take.. good luck ✌️🌿😃
