White Widow Fast Fem SOG Grow!

So, uh...some interesting changes, as you can see, judging by the photos. Things have gotten real wonky over the past 10 days. So let's recap, in case anyone else is using this strain: After my post last week, I did a normal water/feed with about 2x as much water per plant as normal, since I'd held off a couple days on watering past their normal date. With fabric pots, normally isn't a problem. I also did a defoliation, which I've done mid-flower before, just removing fan leaves blocking bud sites/laying on each other. Didn't take more than about 20-25% of leaf material. Woke up the next morning to one plant on full wilt, one plant yellowing hard, and the other looking perfectly dandy. Immediately ruled out underwatering, and thought it might be overwatering. I cycled the wilters in front of my intake fan, which should have dried them out. Became clear after 48 hours that the roots are not taking much water at all, which suggested root rot. That'd be surprising, as these suckers have not been overwatered through the cycle (if anything, underwatered!) and the fabric pots/air change should be getting rid of those issues. Also, Plant #2 wasn't wilting much until this morning, but looked like it was sucking nutes from its leaves and a possible cal/mag deficiency or pH imbalance. Ruled out the pH, and cal/mag would be weird as I've supplemented in previous weeks. Most weird of all is the 3rd plant, which is trucking right along with only the slightest nute burn. The other major changes in the other two plants has been a clear sprint to flower. Pistils are browning fast. My thought is maybe these two plants got so stressed they've triggered into thinking they're dying off and are going into quick flower? I don't know, this has been a strange turn of events (and tbh, with how many problems I've had with every Seedsman order, I'm not surprised). At this point I'm just trying to nurse them along to harvest, but I think I'll lose at least 1, if not 2. Pretty pissed. Anywho, to those who might check this diary because they're trying this strain, my two cents would be *do not defoliate whatsoever post-flower.* They're waaaaay too susceptible to triggering like this. I'll probably let them go until they're clearly about dead before checking the roots, so I'll report back if they're looking like they have root rot.
