It's been extremely hot and humid this week .With temperatures of 95 degrees or higher and 80 to 100 percent there's been a slow down in growth. Next week the high temperatures are supposed to drop to the mid 80s with night temperatures in the upper 60s so I expect to see a pretty good jump in growth.

I have the UTMOST sympathy for you... And can relate to your woes... even here in the Northeast, it's been one terrible TERRIBLE summer for growing outdoors - and, like you, I've vowed I'm never going to do it again. Bud rot got me... and we NEVER have humid weather except for a random day here and there... but not THIS summer! Kudos to you for not just deleting your diary... I didn't delete my two that succumbed to bud rot... folks needs to know that sometimes you fail and that's ok... ESPECIALLY when Mother Nature is clearly to blame. I'm picking myself up after a dismal summer and starting again - INDOORS! Good luck to you in whatever you intend to grow next!
