Keeping the nutrients the same this week. I’ve been low stress training this plant almost daily and it seems to be taking it very well. I switched fans in the tent for about 36 hours and realized it was a little too strong. Some of the leaves were starting to droop a little bit, but since changing out the fan it has recovered quite nicely. I will keep updating as week goes on. I’m starting to take this plant outside a little more often in the mornings for an hour just so it gets some space and sunlight. The tent is getting a little cramped because I’m growing one other plant in there as well. Next time I’ll definitely only grow one at a time just because the space as well as the size of my light. Possibly some taller planters might help with space.

Should I defoliate some of my larger fan leaves on this autoflower? If so, at what point during growth should I do that? This is my first grow so another question is if it’s even worth me defoliating.

No, I would not remove anything at this point. Auto's are on a fixed schedule so you want the plant to have as many solar collectors to build strength and energy for flowering. After flowering begins then you can look at it again and start training, tucking and then removing leaves if it's really necessary.

Besides the risk of pests, is there any downfall to taking my autoflower outside sometimes to get more space and fresh air? The light I’m using is pretty small so I don’t think my plant is getting hit throughout the entirety of it. I’ve been taking it outside every other day

If your plant is "hardened" to real sunlight then you could take it outside to get more intense light. Keep in mind that the plant does best with consistent 16-18 hours of light per day. Doing it now and then might do more harm than good and I certainly would not leave it out over night which would mean it's getting a much shorter light period. I personally would not risk pests and disease by going outside. Either grow inside or outside. I would spend the money and get a better light and keep your plant inside where you can control the environment for maximum yield.
