Crop #2 - One Giant Leap

Plants not looking as good as they were in their Solo cups. I suspect the roots are struggling for oxygen in their mediums. With the combination of my soil mix containing far too much worm castings and using plastic pots this time around, I seem to have overwatered all of my plants. The worm castings are retaining too much water and its taking too long for the medium to dry out, even with all the extra perlite I added. For this reason, I took all the plants out from under the Spider Farmer in the 4x2, and under the 315w LEC from Sun System inside the 4x4. I figure the heat given off by the LEC fixture will aid in increased evaporation. I was not prepared to fuck something up in the beginning of my second grow, especially overwatering. Alas, I am doing things a little different than I had the first time around, so I'm not going to lose sleep over it. Just have to get the plants to bounce back from this initial struggle and they'll be well on their way. Thanks for stopping by!
