First Grow: 'Orla' Orange Bud (Auto)

Oct 6 (day 36): Start of week 6. Still doing well post last round of LST and her split! Bandage still holding which you can see on the photo. More growth in all places and looking a nice colour and healthy. Oct 7 (day 37): Whoa, looks like she is going into pre-flower?! Orla and Wanda are 10 days younger than Ophelia and Wendy and they were much bigger when they went into pre-flower. Not only that but they had a tough start as seedlings and I thought it would stunt their growth. Well at least I will have a different experience with these plants as they are a totally different shape and have way less branches currently 🤔 Oct 8 (day 38): All good today and definitely in pre-flower! Did some more LST to even put the canopy and get some light to the lower branches and nodes. Fed her with week 2 of the nute schedule and 2L of water. Feels a bit early to start the bloom nutes. Thought I would use the fish mix foliar spray I created earlier in the week. BIG MISTAKE - it absolutely STANK!! Note to self: when using fish mix foliar spray, throw it away after usage and mix a fresh one each time. Nausea level: 8/10. 😷 Oct 9 (day 39): Looking good and responded well to yesterday’s LST and feed (including the rotten fish mix 🤢). Oct 10 (day 40): Looking good and healthy still. Lots of growth and flowers beginning to appear. She’s grown SO much since the beginning of this week, I can’t believe it. Oct 11 (day 41): Whilst mixing up the feed tonight my PH meter read 1.5!? PH has consistently been 6.5 - 7.0 once I added nutes so this was very weird. Mixed up the calibration sachets and it was still off so I can only assume it’s broken. FFS 🤬 Bombed it down to my local grow shop and got a replacement 60 seconds before they shut. I went for a Blue Meter this time, given my cheap one from Amazon died at the most inappropriate time! Even so, it’s bloody expensive 🤯 Waterproof though, so hopefully won’t suffer the same fate as the last one. Once back up and running, I watered her with week 3 of the nute schedule and 2L of water. Feels safe to start bloom nutes now. Sprayed her with a foliar fish mix spray and remembered to throw the remainder of the fish mix spray away this time to avoid having to fumigate the greenhouse again after the last incident 😰🤢 Did a bit of LST for good measure to try and even the canopy. Oct 12 (day 42): End of week 6. Seems to have responded to the LST, feed and foliar spray well. Looking very healthy and pointing upwards again. Growing like crazy! NOTE: Nutrient amount is the total amount of nutes given during the week.
