Surf Purp (Malibu Pie X Ninja Fruit)

Week 5 Flower All of the girls are looking very green and healthy, so I decreased micro and increased the PK. I'll stop feeding micro by next week, which will give a better flush and should hopefully get them fading quicker. To up the PK of the mix, I'm adding a small amount of Green Leaf Nutrients Bud Explosion and also giving a higher dosage of Astro flower. Remo Bloom has been left as it is, as it's already being fed at a high strength. Cal-Mag was reduced slightly before being stopped at the end of the week. Epsom salts was also stopped by the end of the week. Not only do they take a little longer to flush from the plant, but they can impair the flavour if fed for too long into flower. Pheno's 3&4 have grown level with the light and are extremely close, with #4 being far too close for comfort and will likely burn and bleach a bit, as you can start to see. Only 1 top nug is badly affected, but she has plenty of bus sites so all is well. The affected bud will still be perfectly smokable, but may lack slightly in terpene and cannabinoid levels compared to other buds. The shorter pair have stacked well and have a powerful blueberry smell, with #1 smelling more intense. They're all incredibly strong on the nose so a carbon filter is an absolute must with this strain if you need to keep it discrete. The hunt for keeper pheno still hasn't gotten any easier!
