First Grow 8|

4/8/22 - Watered as follows (I really should have labelled these): 5gal that's struggling; 800ml, 3gal; 800ml, 5 gal that's okay; 2000ml. Nutrients are above, hoping the Epsom salt helps with the issues on the 5gal plant that has been doing okay up until now. Introduced the Grow Big this time around to get some more Nitrogen in there, so we'll see how they're doing tomorrow. Leaves are starting to curl on the 5gal so perhaps I've been under-watering it, will examine and see how it responds. The 3 gal is drooping again, but in the past after it gets a watering it seems to perk back up, lol I have no idea, the leaves on that one are still the best looking in terms of color, but it's been stunted quite a bit so we'll see what happens. Still seems to not be in the flowering stage. Overall it seems like things started to go wrong once I hit flowering. Will see how they respond to the feed today and make a plan for next time. Maybe introduce the nutrients a week earlier at the low doses I'm at right now. If the plants respond well then I plan to up the nutrients to half strength (currently doing quarter strength) next week. Evening update - Did some more reading, may just be general nutrient deficiency overall, maybe should introduce nutrients at week 4. I'll try one plant in coir and one in soil next time...maybe....lotta maybes...also apparently normal for the plant to turn light green during flowering! Took a peek earlier and the 3 gal has perked back up, just needed some water! 4/11/22 - Trimmed some of the completely dead leaves that had curled up and were crispy on each plant, hopefully helps it a bit. Runoff ph was 6.7 so a little high, might be due to me purposely raising the ph when watering that time, but I don't think so. Will lower ph with next watering. To that point, the smaller 5gal and the 3gal felt quite dry pretty deep, so I may water them tomorrow as well. Absolutely do not want to over-water these, so will wait a day. The 5gal that's doing well is very moist and cool (soil) so no need to water. Also checked the PPM in my tap water, mid 100s so not an issue I believe. That being said I should just go back to the filtered water since I now have CalMag if needed. Will check on the plants tomorrow to see how they responded to being cleaned up and also after getting some nutrients. Will water the two with just normal water, ph 6.3ish. 4/12/22 - Gave the 5 gal that's struggling 1200ml, the 3gal 800ml. 3gal was starting to droop a bit, the usual sign it needs a watering, dry soil confirms it. 5gal that's been doing well still showing signs of the issues described above, yellowing still climbing up the plant, hoping these nutrients are able to get into it and reverse course. The water I fed them today had a ph of 6.3. No water for the 5gal that's been doing well; soil is still cool and moist. Do want to try and introduce lower ph water to that one as soon as possible but can't over-water. ph in runoff was 6.7-6.8, so maybe try ph of 5 next time... 4/14/22 - We'll see tomorrow....we're in some trouble here people. Two things....ph very important, keep an eye on it at all times, measure runoff every time...may have been out of sync...? But also, start nutrients when pre-flower starts....that's where everything started to go wrong. And watch the watering.... All three were in dire situations today, under-watered perhaps, starting to look sickly. Immediately watered (I'll move this update to tomorrow with after pics...)
