This looks like thrips to me - and if you're seeing white markings on your leaves, you've got SOMETHING feeding on them... Grab an insecticide that contains Spinosad and use it as directed... it's organic so it can be used all the way through harvest with no problem. Get on these critters NOW! Good luck! p.s... I find neem oil not very effective and you DEFINITELY do not want to use it when the plant is in flower...

Yes you can take cuts from a cutting from the original plant from seed.. you can arguably do it as many times as needed down the line of “generations” , so to speak, of the original plant. Problem you run into is disease and viruses are easily introduced into the plant by the open wound from cut taken. You can use tissue culture to get around this problem, but thats a whole nother subject.
