One seed, two seedlings, two dif. plants

I was really surprised to see that the seed i planted sprouted 2 seedlings that look very healthy but one has one cotyledon only. I gently proceeded to divide them and place into different pots, no damage or slow in growth happened. Everything except that is normal for now.
