D93. The first girl in now getting 24 hours of light, a 20% increase compared to 20/4, although she first got 22/2 for a couple of days. She is more compact than her monster sibling, but she looks great, with nice stacking buds, and I'm hoping more photons should help her finish strong. She is smelling incredible - 95% fuel, 5% a sweet, almost candy, hint of citrus. It's the most gassy strain I've grown to date, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will keep these terps throughout the grow, dry, and cure. ------------------------------ D95. I'm starting to see senescence on the first girl. I had a quick peek at the trichomes and they are clear or milky. I'd guess that she has another couple of week to go. She has started to show a bit of light stress on her top bud as it has started to foxtail due to the increase in light. Not a huge deal as it is only one that one cola and it's worth that tradeoff to get more light to the rest of the buds. It's fascinating how different my two girls are. Not only in size but in the way that they fade as well The second girl is continuing to lose her leaves and with this rate it will be a piece of cake to trim her since most of the fan leaves will be gone by then. The second girl is also really, really greasy to the touch. Much more than any previous plants I've grown. The Banana FFJ finished after a couple of weeks of fermentation. I doubt that either girl really "needs" it but I fed each 10 ml of FFJ. Might as well give the girls a potassium boost. ------------------------------ D98.
