Humble Garden 23

Some needed rain came in and the temperatures dropped to a average season level. Weeding cake, mimosa evo and jack herer are producing now a more particular smell. orange sherbert is a pure joy to smell and get fatter. but i discovered caterpillars on it. Damn! this is new to me. in the past last ten years of growing i never got one and i cared never more then now for them. but guess big sweet sticky flowers attract better... have to spot and pick them! raised the trellis bar on the jack herer because the wind blowed the colas to much around. super happy how my system worked out, just had to unscrew at four points, raising the bar up and screwed back into the poles, job done... moved the wedding cake in the pot a bit more towards the house to have better sun exposure, the second one in the garden could might be becoming the secret star of the grow...time will tell, but i love the natural shape and some beautiful buds are starting to form now. Week32 average fall weather partly sunny, partly cloud... Harvest has started. sherbert came in this week. didn't had to cut to much off from the infected caterpillar buds. more covered in the harvest section soon. spotted some single caterpillars on the other plants as well. first panama then amg and wedding cake as well. they didn't had the time to settle in and poo in the buds, but i really starting to wonder why this is happening everywhere in the garden. have to investigate... panama, cake2, jack and amg will come in next week as well. the rest will stay longer. all the plants maturing right now. the smell around the house is intense. week 33 as planed cake2, panama, jack and amg came down this week. was a good harvest day. sunny and warm all week long. late summer continues... week 34 still late summer weather. dry sunny and warm even at night. don't have to worry about mold at all. some caterpillars show up from time to time on one of the plants, but only singles. i wil try to harvest in two weeks.
