I've had a Dinafem Auto Critical Jack do that, make sure you inspect your buds thoroughly for mold and other humidity related issues and do defoliate and cut into the buds when you suspect them for being moldish. While flowering does decrease the number of digits your leafs have, stress can do the same. My greenhouse (Tunnel actually) was way too humid recently. My tops curled up and new leafs had 3 or even only 1 digit. Good luck and many Bananas.
