Best way to switch from 18 to 12 of light? How do you proceed in this task?

change the timer on your next off cycle. eg if you are on a 18/6 currently, like lets say 5am till 11pm when it goes past 11pm in its off cycle chnage it to your new 12/12 be it 5am-5pm or 7am-7pm whatever you want. you can do it slowly over the coerce of a week or two like nature does in 15 min intervals a day but the plants don't care. one stop shot, get it done and over with. Good Luck!

HI All, the new born leaves appear a lighter green hue, could it be a lack of forsophos and potassium?

Hello, I measured the PH and EC in the wastewater, they are 9 and 4 respectively, definitely too high, how can I lower these levels? Do you think a little flush will help or is it enough to flush out a good 20% of water each watering? what steps would you take?

Your PH is 9? and EC is 4? that's quite high. You can alter your PH by flushing the medium with just ph adjusted water. This in turn will also flush out all the extra nutrients and lower your EC down to a normal amount. Normally 20% runoff is enough to keep it in check but if your overfeeding to begin with it may not do jack shit. I also never water till runoff when I grow in soil. I always just water till a few drops come out as it can compact quite easily and become waterlogged. You should monitor your feeds PH and EC before going into medium and after if you are watering with runoff. The first little bit is always going to be higher, try and collect a sample after a bit has come out. Any PH down will work, I tend to lean towards phosphorous acid. Good to calibrate your monitors/pens to ensure they are correct as the plants are looking descent at PH 9 and EC 4 so may not be an accurate reading. Good Luck!

Hi everyone, brown spots are forming in the lower middle part, fortunately only a few have this problem at the moment, can it be due to a lack of calcium?

Your last questions was about PH and EC being really high and when that happens shit locks out, eg nitrogen can get less available, calcium and magnesium stay available in higher PH ranges so it might just need a bit more then .8ml per 1000ml/1L for a few feeds. It should green back up with the N getting more available. follow the feeding ratio guidelines by the manufacture and just dilute down to your desired EC level to avoid a build up. Keep PH of the feeding solution in range 6.2-6.5 in veg and 6.4-6.8 in flower. Good Luck!

Did I do something wrong or is it a genetic mutation?

Ahh..I see the lil node in your whole plant pic. Its just a shoot that went its own way. I had this with one of my autos Its just a mutation. Foxtailing it's not. You can either leave it r pull it. Me id leave it.. plant mutations can be interesting to see develop. You might get a few inches of a nice mini cola. Good Luck
