Wait, i just read "a week old plant" and then right after you say transitioning to week 5? Completely confused now...

If you found a seed in a bag of weed you bought, then don't be surprized if that plant is a hermaphrodite. And if that picture is a seed that been sprouted and is just 7 days old, well, i just don't believe that. That seedling has got to be at least, at LEAST 10 to 14 days old. I've never had a seedling pop out of the soil surface and look like that after 7 days....never. But besides that, it looks just fine to me.
