After running into issues with my Humboldt Seed Co Indoor/Outdoor runs in the fall, I'm determined to get a good harvest from my Jelly Donutz strain. Planted these seeds in 4" square pots with Baccto potting soil, directly under my grow light. I've put it about 2 feet away from the light, and set the light to 40% intensity. Will check the PAR levels and update this soon.
This soil is the same batch found in my previous Blueberry Muffins indoor run. I mixed the following soil back in June (adapted from r/NoTillGrowery + BuildASoil (and other resources). This recipe makes 3 cubic feet of soil, enough for 2 city pickers:
Peat Moss - 1 Cu Ft
Pumice - 1 Cu Ft
Vermicompost - 1 Cu Ft
Neem Seed Meal - 2 cups
Alfalfa Meal - 3 cups
Kelp Meal - 3 cups
Crab Meal - 2 cups
Fish Bone Meal - 1 cup (this may be inaccurate, I remember wanting to add some but was afraid of overdoing it)
Azomite - 3 cups
Gypsum - 1 cup
Since I'd only done one incomplete (but long) run in the soil to date, I re-ammended the soil with about 1.5 cups of craft blend each (this may be inaccurate, my memory is failing me and I did this about a month before germinating these seeds). I've been mostly spending my time so far getting the clover to spread over my containers and rehydrating my medium after leaving it in the shed resting for some time.
While applying the cover crop I think I washed out some areas of it, so I've reapplied a little to the bald areas. It looks way more bushy than in the pictures, I just watered it before taking them.
Used up the rest of my EM1, will look into future microbials (can i use Fish Sh!t inside?) Have been alternating aloe/coconut with each watering. Been going a bit heavier with the saponins to try to get this peat properly wicked up.
