Indoor Blueberry Muffin

We started this grow on February 18th 2024 and we are so excited!!! All we can say is - it better smell like blueberry muffins. From reading other growers and watching seed to harvest videos, our hopes are incredibly high. This is actually our first organic grow; we have been using coco with liquid nutrients. We have come to realize that for what we want from the grow - high quality buds with unique smells and flavors - living soil will be the way to grow. From our research - its all about stimulating the plants immune system, so we will be putting that to the test. We are also trying out our new AC infinity equipment including their smart controller and clip on fans. We mixed the living soil from Gaia Greens with 20% worm castings and their all purpose fertilizer at 3 tsp/gal. We mixed a total of about 11 Liters of medium to last us for the entire veg and we plan to remix come flowering time. We filled three solo cups and placed a seed in each about half an inch deep, then covered them lightly with medium. We sprayed the top with some distilled water and placed all three cups in a humidity dome under the light set at around 130ppfd. We also added a humidifier to the room they are in to increase the humidity in the tent. The temperature has been staying between 73°F and 78°F. On day 2 of germination, we saw that the top of the soil was starting to dry a bit, so we sprayed it with some more water - but this was a mistake. On day 3, we started to get a little worried, because we were not seeing anything, so we went in with a toothpick and realized that the medium had become compacted and the sprouts were struggling to push through. After some digging and excavating, we freed the cotyledons. They are now starting to stretch towards the light, and everything seems back on track! We are happy to report that all three seeds popped! Looking forward to updating weekly and hoping for a strong grow.
