The royal critical auto seems to be pretty close to harvest., half of the pistils are brown but there are many lower buds that are still white and not mature. Do you think I should/can wait about 2 days and do a partial harvest to let the other buds grow?

Heyy Bud! yes you most deff can wait and do a partial harvest no problem. If you are just going by the pistols I would highly suggest getting a good magnifying glass at least. but a pocket microscope or jewelers loupe are ideal an look at the Trichomes(crystals) there are 3 stages. 1-Clear, 2-Cloudy/Milky, 3-Amber. If they are still clear then it is not ripe yet. When they are Cloudy/Milky that is when they are at peak resin production. When they get to Amber that means they have past their peak and have started to oxidize into CBN, that can produce some what of a "couch-lock" feeling if the strain does not already have that to it. So the best time to harvest would be at peak resin production, that would be Cloudy/Milky and you would want as close to 100% as you can but that is nearly impossible so most people aim for 90-95% cloudy/milky an 5-10% amber some do the same number but opposite and do 5-10% clear. That part is more personal preference so don't be afraid to play around. Also Sometimes even tho the hairs on the bottom are still white the trichomes can be done, not always but it does happen. thus why have a pocket microscope or jewelers loupe is great cheap investment to have👍 or at the least a really really good magnifying glass Hope this helps!!😎
