It was a nice plant to experiment with. I tryed every technique possible, from light LST to early defoliation (which increase resin production a LOT), from topping to fimming, and so on. The nicest plant is probably the Nana, but the nicest is definitely the Geometry Teacher: both will be reveg for future clones!
The fimmed girl (DecaBull) was disappointing, it didn’t grew as I expected - probably because of the orientation of the lights.
The Manda Rossa grew very well and developed nice big colas.
I’m expecting no more than 60gs in total, due the low temperature which slowed the plant’s growth.
After some different approach I can definitely say that if you don’t mess with the hormones - meaning to not cut any part of the plants- it preserves and shows his genetic phenotype.
During the last two weeks every plants developed some dark purple colour on the lower part.
Defoliation should be made at least 3-4 days before harvest and - if possible - use low temperature and 1-2 days of full darkness to increase resin production.
Low temperature slows growth but helps to obtaine stickness on the buds.
The BioTabs should be used in his wholness! Don’t buy only the starter pack, use all the products they offer, it helps during the last phase!
I hoped for a good crop but in the end I harvest only some juicy buds..
I usually just number my pots I don't want to get to emotionally attached to my plant's because I'm the shy and sensitive type! 😂Thing 1-Thing 2-Thing 3-Thing 4 Like A Dr. Seuss book.
So now it’s the 2nd week of flowering period, and I would try to experiment with some LST, did anybody recommend me how and on which plant? The average height is 32-33cm now (tuesday 8th).
You need to lst all of them to get most out of grow. To do so just pull each branch down away from center to open her up. You can tie branches to side of container to make a star pattern. Also lst training can be done up till week 3 of flowering. Try to keep canopy even in these weeks. When they are even flat like a table plants energy is spread out evenly. So it's not just focusing on one branch.
DEFOLIATION: when should I do it?
I start by removing some yellow leafs and I'm at 2 week from harvest.
Should I remove the other biggest leaf, even if they didn't shadow the flower and are healthy and green?
Also, what means if the stem is reddish?
Hello
Your plant is splendid removed the most yellow leaves leaves the others because your plant attacks its senescence and it draws its last strength and nutrients in its leaves for me so it is good to leave them. After a good rinse and a check of your trichomes you can harvest your plant.
May the force be with you
