Hey Everyone,
Here are the girls in the beginning of their 7th week. Northern Express is 51 days old and Bubblegum will be a few days behind that. I have begun flushing the Northern, and she will receive nothing but straight water for the next two weeks, at which stage she'l be sliced n diced. Her buds are filling out nicely, quite modestly, but I am really happy with how her trichromes are developing. She seems to be much frostier than the plants in my first grow, and has a nice sweet smell like some fruity candy developing. I am a little worried about the speedy at which her leaves are yellowing, I know that autoflowers do this at the end of their lives but it still seems like she's going to have nothing left in two weeks time at this rate. If I were to diagnose what the problem is, I think that she did not recieve enough vegetative nutrients early in life to last through the flowering stage she is in now, and the veg is something I will focus on in more depth next round.
Bubblegum is doing her thing slowly but surely, and side by side this grow could be compared to the tortoise and the hare. She has trichromes forming too, and her buds are just begginning to reach the stage of swelling out and taking on more shape. She is less yellow than the other but still beggining to sap out that nitrogen from her fan leaves.
Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all speculation/advice.
