Mexican seed breeding

D28: will be going into flowering tomorrow. Two or three confirmed males, a bunch of confirmed females. Still amazed at the phenos present. All so different. Indica, sativa, branchy, and not. Some with some neat characteristics of colouring already. Some are showing signs of nitrogen tox with the claw which is interesting because they're all in the same living soil, getting nothing but water. Shows how some are hungry and already consuming lower leaves while others are already at their tolerance level. You can see that little fella in front all droopy and dark green which I think is just a sensitive plant. D31: first full day of flower. Killed Mex08 as there were a few males, and this one was just not interesting. Some are very sativa and slow flowering, still don't know the sex of a few of them. Might kill the Wilty number 4 as it's just bad. #6 vs #10 have very similar traits so I will choose one of those males to keep based on the flowering speed, flower size and structure. Same with #7 vs #11. I'll have three total male pollen collections, and four nice females to use them on meaning it will be very easy to make the 12 crosses. I also brought over the small twin to mix with a strong male. I also took clones of the four females and one sativa that is very slow to show as I don't want to have to take a cutting in flower. May keep them and grow them to try the smoke in each and/or keep a cutting for backcrossing to bring out the diesel smell. D34: #11 made my decision easy, I figured it was a male but also had female flowers after three days of flower. Don't need those straight herm genetics so I chopped it out.
