June-8th - Day 93 PARTIAL HARVESTING - Preparing for full Harvest 😀😀😀😀😀 I'm doing a part harvest on plant A. Because the other plant has not finished yet, in the meantime i do partial harvests on A. Everyday i check the trichomes, and if I can see some brown trichomes, i cut off this bud for drying. The big buds and the mainbud on plant A is already harvested. There are only smaller buds remaining on the plant so far, seems that they are growing a little bit more, so i think i can increase little bit the yield of plant A. But will cut off the whole plant if the other plant B has finished. On 2-3 buds i have already approx. 10-20% brown trichomes. So i check every day with the microscope the colour of the trichomes. 80 % is milky, rest is clear or brown. I will harvest plant B this week, latest middle of next week. 😁 Have already flushed plant B first time. Will flush a 2nd time, and i will give her for 36-48 hrs in the dark before harvesting. This time i' m doing an mix of "wet trim" and "dry trim" with the buds on plant A where i do an partial harvest: After cut off the buds i dry them with all leaves for 5-6 days. After that i trim the buds, cut off all leaves and dry the trimed buds again for 5 days. After that the buds are ready for the glass for curing. With plant B i will do the same: i will cut off the whole plant, hanging on the line for drying, after 5-7 days i will cut off the branches with the buds, will cut off all the leaves and trim the buds, then the trimed will dry again for 5-7 days. After that they will come into the jars and i will cure them for approx. 3 months. Many things to do - but - never too much work! for an strain which is named by the famous Mr. Jack Herer !😉😀😎 Oh yes, almost forgot: tried the collected scissors hash few days ago.... booom🤣🙃😜😀😀😀 =======================/= Update Jun-11th - Day 96. HARVEST !!!😀😀😀 Today have checked the Trichomes again, and they are changing the colour fast now - so i have already approx. >20 % amber Trichomes on most of the buds now! I will harvest both plants in 2 days. Plant A is already partial harvested. The smaller unfinished remaining buds increased a little bit with their size in the last 2 weeks - so partial harvest was a good decision, when the other plant has not finished, and the grow is going ahead. The 2nd plant - Plant B - was flushed this week, so she's ready for harvest now. Will switchoff the light tomorrow, to give both plants approx. 30 hrs darkness, and in 2 days i will cut off the both plants. My drying plan: i will dry the whole plants with remaining all the leaves for 5 days, then i will trim the buds, and the trimed buds will dry again for 5-6 days. Then they will come into the jars for curing (approx. 12 weeks). Have uploaded few photos now - these will be the last pictures showing the both living plants. Also a few trichome photos - done with my USB-pocket microscope - were uploaded. At the microscope-photos it‘s good visible, that most of the trichomes are already milky, a few are still clear, and there are a few brown and amber trichomes. So the both "Jack Herers" have finished and are ready for harvesting now. Lots of work is waiting now - but never too much work for a strain, which was named by the famous Mr. Jack Herer 😉😎 =========================== Update June-19th - HARVEST -TIME !!!! (busy - absolutely no free minute for updating the report here 😉 i'm triming my huge yield 😃😎 Have harvested both plants at 13-June- was Day 98 - 1 weeks ago. Just to inform: cannot publish weight now - have to wait till drying-progress has been finished - this takes 10 days minimum. So I will go to publish my harvest incl. weight here at GD in 5-10 days.
