One of the embryos died soon after sprouting but the other one did it well. I have read that with old seeds the main problem is that the seed husk gets hard and prevents water to come in or the tap root to emerge, so I rubbed the seeds with sandpaper (fine grade) and then soaked them in 100 mL deionized water with 4 drops H2O2 at pH for 36 hours. After a few days I started to fertigate on 12 3 2020 (twice a day) and I notices that despite I use a very low strength solution ca. 250 ppm, run off was very high for a seedling ( it was about 500 ppm) so flushing with the fertigation solution I managed to put that value down to 350 ppm which is more friendly to the roots. I think that since I'm starting a fertigation regime, run off wil be soon near to the value of the solution inflow TDS.
