@CRimp, Would just like to add how much I appreciate that question! I did what I could with the hose for now - I wrapped it in foil (all the hardware stores are closed in my country at the moment cause of COVID-19, so couldn't buy some tape). But it got me thinking - "What about the sides of the buckets?"... So I ran some experiments with my phone recording video from inside an empty bucket in the tent, and think that might have been a large factor! So I've put the buckets in spare buckets so most of it is two layers thick and the single-layer part is wrapped in foil to help reflect the light away from the bucket... It's not perfect, but it's a damn-side better than it was and hopefully will hold until I can make a more solid plan. So just wanna say thank you very much! Helped me a lot just with one question :) Have a good one 😎 Update: I've just added weeks 5, 6, 7 - so you can see what I was dealing with before you came in and helped "shine light" -da dum tsss- on the issue
