it seems that I'm getting rid of the gants, but I still don't feel like watering her properly because I'm afraid they'll come back. Don't know if I should say flowering since she has already developed some pistils

hello guys I'm dealing with a gnats infestation. I'm treating my girl with neem oil and adhesive stripes so my questions are 1. can you confirm these are fungus gnats? 2. any advice? 3. how to water? I don't want to wet the soil because this would make things worse

Hi @susina 1. Yes they are gnats 2 and 3. You will have to pause your normal watering schedule for a couple days – but it’s worth it. When the soil has dried, make a mixture of 3% hydrogen peroxide and water at a 1:4 ratio. This won’t injure your plants, but it will turn into oxygen and water (that, as you know, are beneficial to the soil). This will keep the gnats away while simultaneously helping your plants out. To help speed up the process of ridding your plants of this pest, bring in a fan and have it blowing over your soil to help dry it up more rapidly. It also helps keep the tiny fungus gnats from flying around properly, therefore reducing the amount of eggs they are able to lay. A commercial product like Bug Blaster will always to the job. If you want to make sure to kill them all buy something like Bug Blaster. If you want to be particularly thorough, you can apply some food-grade diatomaceous earth over the areas of the soil that are exposed. This will kill the fungus gnat larvae, keep future infestations from occurring again, and will speed up the eradication process. Diatomaceous earth is organic – it’s simply made of fossilized shells! It kills insects effectively by cutting into their exoskeletons and draining out their bodily fluids. Luckily for you, it is not dangerous for people or pets – you could even consume it and be perfectly fine.Another way of destroying larvae that are living in the soil is using an actual pest treatment that contains the Bacillus bacteria. Bacillus sometimes referred to as “BT” or “BTi,” is a type of bacteria that creates a larvae-harming toxin. It essentially disallows them to eat. Good luck mate 👍

Helloo So today I've noticed that the bottom leaves are yellow. I don't really think it is a problem since I think the reason is that they don't get enough light because are covered by the bigger leaves on top. But it's better to ask since I'm a newbie. What do you think?

If your plant is an Indica dominant, the color should be much darker. Dark green. Could be nutrient deficiency, probably nitrogen. did you already feed them nutrients ? Leaves turn yellow and die off when the plant is missing nutrients, it shouldn't happen at your stage since the plant is so small... Anyway I don't see a big problem now, you should keep monitoring daily and see if more leaves turn yellow. If it's a sativa it's normal that that the plant is a lighter green

No the powder is just some diatomaceous earth I've used to take care of a gnats infestation. It doesn't harm the plant. I was talking about the brown leaves

If your talking about the white on the leaves, it could be powder mildew. To keep on top of this, you can try spraying your leaves with a milk and water mix. It will kill the mildew but you may have to keep at it every few days up until it is gone. This method will not harm your babies. Also lower your humidity some. Good luck

hi guys I'm asking this question again because I haven't got any good answer the bottom leaves are drying out as you can see in the pictures. Why? Don't worry about the powder, it's a natural insecticide (diatomaceous earth)

Looks like a calcium deficiency to be honest. Use some in extra in your feeding to boost it. I doubt it’s a burn because you would probably see that in your new growth sites as well. Ultimately you’ll want to prune off the lower and inner growth that won’t be directly exposed to sunlight anyways. But yea that’s what I thinks happening. Happy growing

hey there, the bottom leafs are showing symptoms related to Nitrogen. In your case it's nitrogen toxicity. You can see this from the nutrient burn on the leaf tips and the yellowing starting at the base of the leaf outwards starting with the bottom leafs first. Just cut down the BioBloom or whatever has extra N in it and follow a feeding schedule like plain water x2 then one time feeding, water water feed water water feed, like that. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Bottom leaves dieing and going up plant? Cant be light burn, so you are overfeeding, or you probably have a cal mag deficiency, or your plant is infested with pests bc you mentioned de earth, i would prune off the dead leaves, check ph, and give a bit of cal mag. As long as ph is good.
