Ready, steady, GO! Week 5 of flowering started on Saturday. I'm super pumped about it. Everything is growing beautifully. I cleaned both 70L res'. The lifting hook system still works like a charm! My plants start the 5th flowering week with super fresh water with nutrients. I overdid it a little bit, I wanted to give them 25% more of nuts and I think that burned the tips of the leaves. I just wanted to check if more nuts boost the growth a little bit but I overdid it so I added 10L of just fresh water to each reservoir. I only lowered the PH because the plants drank a shitload of nuts and it went up quite a bit. Now the water is at 5.7 PH with additional water which should dissolve the nuts a little bit and get shit back to normal ;) I've also put 2 CO2 pads on both sides of the light and i sprinkle it with water once a day. That should feed my plants not only from the bottom but also from the top, too. Other than that, they start to fatten up and the buds grow bigger. They look great, just check out the gallery of this week. Mimosa EVO is the baddest motherfucker of all. They have the most dense buds for now. The first Mimosa EVO that got hurt too much recovered so well that it's around 15cm taller then the other Mimosa EVO. I love it! BTW I encurage you to open the pics from the gallery because the full size pic reveals a lot of fine ass detail on the flowers #yummy 😵 Have a great week guys :D CU

Hi guys. I think I'm having a small issue with my plants. Yesterday night some leaves started to twist or bend lightly and it's across almost all plants. I transplanted all plants into my dwc 3 days ago and added basic nuts according to description. Thx in advance.

Check pH of reservoir. Adjust, if neccessary. transplanted from same type of medium or? if not, could be a little shock as it adjusts to a DWC environment. Otherwise, if all that is good or irrelevant, lower feed a bit - re-check pH with new concentration. don't do both without thinking about your own recent behaviours and such... broad suggestions to look into but not certain by any means. If you plan on cloning anything, take note of what you feed them over time and what works best. Each strain may be a bit different and this will avoid all problems the second grow that you encountered the first grow.

Hi fellow growers :) is it time for my plants to get topped? 3-5-7 sided leaves are big already and 9 sided leaves are starting to come out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can top them now ; you can either go for mainlining or more internode tops than a single big mid top. Make sure to LST those inernodes after topping to attain higher yield and dense nugs.

Hi peeps, here's the thing. The "bottom" of my leaves started to look kind of like they're dry. The PH is perfect 5.6 for hydro, I worry that the super low humidity of around 30 has something to do with it. The temp doesn't get hotter than 27C, at night around 18.Water temp is 21C

Hey man, just from looking at this picture and the other pictures from your diary, that's as healthy as the leaf can look in my eyes. I also don't really understand what you mean by bottom? The point where the leaf-fingers connect is called rachis as far as I know (Just dropping some nerdy knowledge here, please don't kill me if I'm wrong :D) But in all honesty, the plants look extremely happy man, don't worry too much. Oh and btw, like @FREE_HONGKONG mentioned, definitely top them, it'll work wonders. BTW I know from past experience that the older the leaves get, the more of a "papery" and fairly rough feel they get. Thats apparently completely normal ;) Love and peace :)

Hi y'all! Do you think that the tips from topped plants are potentially potent and good for smoking when dry? :P

I did a mainline grow with cinderella 99. If you check out my diary, you will see when I topped. I wanted 8 colas, so I 1st topped at the 3rd node, cleaned everything up. 2nd topping came at the first nodes but didn't top until I started to see the second nodes, then the 3rd and final topping I did at the first nodes again... but only when I seen the second starting again. Hope that helps. My Cinderella 99 diary is under First Photo-period grow...😁 Happy growing

well, they didn't snap ... you'd know by feel how much damage you caused internally better than the pictures will show. They are resilient plants, regardless. i always think mainling looks cool, lol.. fun to follow along

I topped my plants a few days ago, but just the tips when the side nodes where just as little as a few mm. I've seen a lot of you topping like a whole bunch of the top. I mainlined my plants but I dont know if I should top them again so the nodes under the top become main nodes.

Hi guys, what's the better option, removing big ass fan leaves to give bud nodes more exposure to light or tie fan leaves down? I tied a few down but don't know if that's a good idea. Help is greatly appreciated ;)

Once mine get into aggressive veg growth I remove about 1/2 the fan leaves, leaving some for photosynthesis. The rest if they're really shading lower growth you can tie or tuck out of the way.

Pull away the pebbles from the area. Clean the area with a mix of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. 1 cup of water with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide 3%. Wipe are clean first, then dip a Q tip in the solution and wipe the area. Throw away the Q tip and repeat with a clean one. Clean area every 12 hrs and see if that helps.

Hi there! I think it is best to use these same nutes at first weeks of flowering. When shes stretching she still needs lot of nitrogen too, so when you see the stretch is over you can start to feed bloom nutes. This is basic rule but adapt to the situation

Hi there! If those photos are after pics I think you did not take nearly enough to even call it defoliation. You did not mess up anything but I suggest that you remove whole lotta more of those leafs and try to focus on "lollipopping" (Remove lower 3rd) and the leafs that shades the growing tops 👌

Hi guys, I just finished week 4 of flowering and I'm wondering if my plants look like they're smaller than others on GD. The buds are still starting to develop and are pretty small, they look like week 2 of flowering compared to other growers of the same strains. They are healthy

those are normal. the first weeks of flower until about week 6 they are slowly forming, you will start to see them build up here soon, week 6 is where it starts to get fatter and fatter, week 7 you will defiantly be looking at happiness and week 8 and after will be an excitement to chop, esp. toward the end of week 8, go the full 9 weeks cause that is where the true happiness will be. things look good and do not worry, you got this

Most likely scenario is that she's just finishing her life cycle. You look almost ready for harvest. Otherwise, you may be short on P or it's too warm, but I'm betting it's just natural aging.

My Laughing Buddha is into flowering for 55 days now.The breeder says that flowering time takes 65-70 days. The trichomes on the main cola look like 60ish % milky - 40% amber. I know about head and body high trichome color ratios and wanted to ask why it looks so mature that early

2cents -- don't choose this if thining that at end, as i'm ineligible for the 'contest' related to these solutions... Is it growing a ton of new stigma (or pistils as some call them)? If so, you may end up with an entire layer of new bracts and immature trichomes on top of them. Was it ripe, and then started growing stigma? rhetorical questions - devil's advocate type thing. If it's the first, then i'd wait and see a bit. If it's the second, it may have been "done" and now it's freaking out throwing new stigma growth as last ditch effort to get knocked up. Another behaviour you can consider is how much water is it drinking? if it stopped drinking water, it's nearing death, i think. Anyway, how this all came about over time may help you lean toward one answer or another. if it ends up being a bit more ripe than normal, it's good learning experience about another part of the harvest window.. never know until you try. I try to avoid couchlock ripeness too, but i have dobuts about anything based upon people's volatile perceptions. Unless you are running extractions and analyzing with gc machine etc etc we have no idea what the contents are beyond a wild guess. Could only be based on correlation too. Such a lack of research exists on the subject.

Hi guys! If I have a few 2L jars where the full jar can hold a 100g of dry weed. I'll put 50-70g in each jar. 8g Boveda packs work up to 28g of weed. The next Boveda is for almost 500g of weed. Should I put 2-3 Bovedas into one jar or do they not add up to a higher total volume?

Yes, add 2-3 depending on need if the cure is good 2 will do you in my experience, if you need to add humidity add the 3rd. After you put them in close the jar and don’t open it back up for 2-3 weeks to fully regulate the rH in the jars. All the best 💚

@Cremo The curing stage takes a little time The Grass taste you are getting is from the excess chlorophyl still in the buds this will disapear once cured and the Nice smells will return To cure it you will need to place the Fully dried buds into glass jars and seal . then once a day for 3 weeks you need to open jar for 5 minutes then the next 3 weeks open for a minute or so then after that just open occasionly like once a week or two

All depends what's your dry ice State? Is it small granular or is it large chunks. It seems like you've got a lot of dry ice and I used just the 90 Micron bag with busted up flower from a electric coffee grinder. Make sure that you don't over grind it. Put cute it three times the amount of flower of dry ice close the top. Give it about 2 minutes and then shake it over a clean surface. You will see the kief and the dry ice vapour fall from the bag onto your surface. Do not scrape it right away allow it sometime to evaporate the moisture Left Behind from the dry ice.
