The deficiencies have come back which is making me think it could be something else than magnesium. I might have been feeding too much cal/mag might have locked out other nutrients.
8 weeks 4 days -
Lower leaves are curling and browning tips and upper leaves are getting interveinal chlorosis, flushed with 20liters of ph 5.8 water and used 3/4 strength nutrients.
Instantly realised it could be a bad idea to go up to 3/4 strength to combat deficiency but my EC was lower than most diarys at this time so thought i had room. Will see how they react.
8 wks 5 days -
Doing more research im now thinking that giving so much calmag has caused a lockout of potassium and maybe others? PH and EC are in check so i cant see any other reason, following the schedule (as best as I can as its designed for photo-periods not autos so bit of trial and error)
Used a foliar spray of superthrive to try and help it along.
Feel like I have a potassium deficiency PH is 5.89 and EC is 1.35 so all looks fine.
Have been using a lot of cal-mag to try and correct lacking coco due to not buffering at start. 1.75ml/l is 0.8ec but maybe too much as recomended cal-mag dose is 1ml/l so will go back down to that. As cal/mag can cause sodium buildup which can stop plant uptaking potassium.
- Flush medium completely
- Reintroduce nutes at 1/2 strength but push forward 2 weeks on nutrient schedule for higher potassium.

(Orange sherbet) First EC RUNOFF - 1.18
Will flush until runoff is around 1/3 of starting EC
