Sometimes life gives you little surprises, in this case it was a male plant from an unexpected source. I had assumed that this plant must be feminized, simply because I thought I know it’s source. The assumed sources where two Sundae Driver clones I supplied a friend and he grew outdoors, there were a handful of seeds (6) to be precise in the lb or so my friend grew. Additionally my indoor had gotten a handful of immature seeds so it was easy to assume the Sundae Driver was a potential Hermi. Well I got a male plant so now I question that and have instead Sundaes Best just to distinguish the plants as potentially different. I quickly ditched my DreamBand Sativa leaning male For this beast. And rethought my idea behind how to pollinate with out contamination of good buds. Well I don’t sell this stuff so I figured a mistake seeds would be ok and went for an incredible year easy system that could even have been relocated to avoid the contamination entirely. My pollinating “system” was easy, I had my 10”x20” propagating trays and my coco blocks which were 4”x4” spaces 3 wide and 5 deep...you can tell the math doesn’t line up on those dimensions but I’m just quoting the product dimensions here...anyways the coco cubes had a hole in them big enough for a root plug to be inserted, well I packed that full of Worm Castings and cloned right into this medium. My results on clones taking root were pretty sad, no Orange Daquiri survived and I lost a couple Dreamband and GSC in the process. But at the end of the day I had enough where I used the Sundae Driver males in the center row and put the female clones on the outside around it and grow these under the dome with the top vents open from root to the end of the male flowering stoped producing. This resulted in about 150-200 seeds of each crossing so I can’t complain about the results.

Dreamband, initially I had ultra high hopes for this strain as the stem rubs were so fragrant with Oranges and Blueberries coming out. It had an ultra stout stacked growth that made me think of a nice compact indica, which is was. But at the end of the day this flower bloomed into buds that were overcrowded with leaves to the point of some bud rot. The hairs probably out numbered the trichomes, this was a hairy beast! It reminded me of the Bull Rider strain from SD back in the early 2000’s and just like bull rider it was nearly forgettable except the profusely red hairs everywhere. Although I did end up with some impressive sized buds, so there is some silver lining, but in the end this strain went to hash.

This was a fun Sativa to grow! Although it was crossed with Headband I’m fairly positive this was about as close to a true Chernobyl as you could get. The smell is a crazy lemon-lime and juicy fruit gum flavor, just all over the map with tropical citrus goodness. I’m not thrilled with the high as it is a bit paranoid at times and it seems like a long 4-5 hour high. Highly mold and pest resistant, I think I had 1 caterpillar total and 1 Bud lost to mold, this plant required almost no attention. Oh and the colors!

Was this really girls scout cookies? Technically they probably were but not the elite cookies you find on “exclusive” shelves. As you recall my experience early on was that of struggling and mildly deformed seedlings from all sprouted seeds, something about them just wasn’t right and that is how it finished out too. The taste although unique and worth noting wasn’t good. For reference anyone who is into brewing beer in America might recognize the aroma quite quickly as that of Amarillo Hops, or in liquid form Pliny the Elder. Now I know there are lots of hop heads out there that would die for this but it wasn’t for me, this plant ended up in my mixed Hash bin.

This strain was like a one way ticket to Flavor Town, assuming Flavor Town was the best tasting pie on earth and some asshole smashed it in your face before you could really enjoy it...

Strong grower from the start. My Experience with this plant was that is developed very strong and sturdy branches that supported some pretty dense and resinous buds. A nice smell too of a very sweet almost baked goods/vanilla like nose and a classic skunk and Kush pungency that is super tasty!
