I recently had the pleasure of growing the Lilac Diesel weed strain from Ethos Genetics, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This strain not only thrives with minimal effort but also rewards with stunningly beautiful and potent buds that are a true feast for the senses. From the moment I planted the seed, Lilac Diesel showed vigorous growth and resilience. It's a strain that is easy to cultivate, making it perfect for both novice and experienced growers. I was not expecting much with these beans. They were a freebie, and the whole grow the plants always seemed soso. The last couple weeks changed my mind. These girls came out straight gooey and smelling like amazing fruit. The whole run they had yellowing on the leaves prob from too much nitrogen on the front end. I only did light LST back when she first started flowering and pretty much left her alone after that. Took about 4 hours to trim up. I will post total weight in about 10 days

Good growth overall, good strain, nice aroma and super strong too, it can definitely fill the room on its own . The structure of the plant was well suited thoughtout the whole cycle, I easily recommend the strain

VERY frosty, VERY rock-hard nugs. It wasa the smallest plant but it gave me the best colas. They are magnificent - and the smell is top shelf. Terps are so strong they sting you in the nose. Great stuff.

will definitely grow again. stickiest strongest weed I’ve grown. great phenotypes from garlic/berry to funky skunk to clove/cinnamon. a little leafy for my liking but a perfect bud structure for extracts.

Overall the Apex R1 was a good strain overall. This one grew really phat nugs. If I'm lucky I'll get around 600-650g from the 3.

This strain is kind of finicky. I remember this now from the last time I grew it. People say it hermies at times but both times I didn't have any issues with hermies. Just deficiencies. But she smells like a skunk eating a bowl of lucky charms. She didn't stretch like she did last time. And I'm sure yield was affected by the deficiencies. This was only my second run with organics and I could've used a bigger pot. A 7 gallon may have worked better.

Even with the herm and seed issue, grinding a bud up and smoking it is still actually pretty good. She's a daytime smoke, very functional. The potency is OK, nothing to knock your socks off but perfectly acceptable for any strain. Obviously this is not the best representation of this strain, but considering my circumstances I'm still pretty impressed. The taste is exactly like you'd think, a sharp orange citrus flavor to start with a pleasing cookie flavor on exhale. I'll need to come back to this one as I see loads of potential here, it just wasn't meant to be on this grow in particular.

10th Planet R1 is Planet of the Grapes x Quattro Kush. A fairly compact plant with strong lateral branching producing medium-dense to dense flowers. Stretching varies from almost none to medium. These flowered for 64 days, hang dried for 10 days and cured for 2 weeks before sampling. The phenos with leafier colas have more fruit terps and the most nose, while the plants with bare minimum leaves lean towards the gassy side. Both have a heavy artificial grape forward aroma. #7 was the leafy one and had big terps. She produced 120 grams of medium dense, oily nuggets. The high was more of an uplifting effect, perfect for day time smoke. #6 had the more dense flower and a gassier nose. Sometimes I smell a bit of black licorice out of the bag. She produced 97 grams of frosty, purple nugs. The high was much stonier than #7. A lot happier with the quality this time vs last. Yields were sub par but these had to be the weakest phenos out of the 8 seeds I've popped.

Grand Daddy Purple x Banana Hammock R1 This pheno grew a very large, bushy plant with huge spongy main colas. Previous seeds I've ran produced compact plants (and buds) with almost no stretch. Pruning off the bottom and middle branches was essential to get anything worth trimming. A bit of this yield was larfy, but not as bad as last time. The 5th and final seed from the pack was the weakest. Unlucky but it happens

This strain is incredible. I lucked out with my drying conditions. It was between 55 and 50 percent with a temperature of 69F. I do not whole hang due to space limitations and the fact of smell remediation. I like to be a good neighbor. So I did a stalk rack dry with both a wet and dry trim. This strain was a breeze to trim. Buds were very compact and the stalk on these plants was solid. Even though I staked them these were short squatty plants so if height is an issue then feel free to pick up this strain. I have both vaped this after a week and a half of dry and cure and the taste alone is so incredible. If I thought I had an orange terpine with Mandarin Cookies V2 this version of it has an even more pronounced. It also has an after taste of berries which pairs well with the passion fruit punch that I grew with it. All in all I'm very happy with this strain and will be growing it in the future.
