**APPEARANCE** Life for the FFT3 & 10 started out the same they looked like twins. At first I thought I made a mistake and germinated 2 of the same strain. Or it even crossed my mind that I had a placebo from Fast Buds as if they were “testing the testers” LMAO Once we moved into full flowering things changed drastically. The leaves elongated on this FFT3 and she showed a Dominantly Sativa shape to her structure. At the end of flower we can see nice long Sativa buds. I chose to take her down with the rest, although she could have gone another week and been even more impressive. **AROMA** Again, it was hard to place the aroma at first she was smelt a lil cheesy, a little sour and as time passed a strong berry smell to her. Eventually I concluded she reminds me a lot of WHITE WIDDOW **FLAVOUR** I’m also going to say she tastes like WHITE WIDDOW. Anyone agree with that? My stash is very smooth and burns with a white ash. I’ve been smoking a lot of this strain through the day it’s a great subtle but sweet flavor you can reach to. **EFFECT** Very clean high, with an Energetic, Euphoric buzz. As I said with the flavour, she’s one you can smoke all day for the effect. But that doesn’t put down on her potency she still packs a punch.

This strain is amazingly easy to grow and offers substantial yield. The plants were robust, tall (7-8 feet) and the top colas were heavy and sticky. The rest of the plant was also full of flowers... and almost all of them fattened up nicely. It's fun to harvest a huge plant like that when there is very little 'popcorn' to deal with. The FFT3 was ripe and ready after only 8 weeks of flowering which is absolutely perfect for growing in the North. Only my fast flowering strains were harvested before the first frost advisory came out. If I have my choice, I would grow the fast buds fast flowering genetics on an exclusive basis. Not kidding. I topped one plant and let the other plant grow wild. Both were organic grows with no added plant foods etc. Her leaves were dense and a nice dark shade of green. The flowers were fat and sticky. They took a bit longer than the other varieties to dry completely. The smoke report is a tiny bit disappointing: it's not a super fun variety in my opinion. It's really mild and not strong at all, it's not even strong enough to put me to sleep. I suppose it could be a good wake-n-bake strain... but that's not really what I'm looking for. The flavour is amazing though! There is nothing dank or cheesy about this one at all. It's all sugar and berries. It's a good strain for folks that don't like to be punched in the face by their smoke, or that like to maintain control of the high... maybe it would be a good beginners strain.

Out of all of the plants in the garden, this one was the smallest, longest to finish, smallest yielder and least resistant to mold. Not a fan of the smell and overall not very impressed. I will give it a chance with a smoke report, but from the harvest smell, this might be a bag gifted.

This is a FastBuds 420 photoperiod tester, FFT3, a regular clone that I took. I sort of rushed the early life in terms of transplanting and enacting plans. However, nearing pre-flower readiness and stretch, this plant took off. I was quite surprised how much stretch I got under HPS, but also just in general compared to another Fastbuds tester I had going. Just as I was about to see major growth and trichome development ... the mites exploded. This outbreak is documented on other grows, and these two plants were collateral damage. Its amazing to see that in two weeks the infestation moved and overtook FFT3, visible mites and cobwebs everywhere. Just as it was about to bulk up, already limited with how little leaf matter I gave, the mites shredded the leaves and that was it. I eventually received my ordered ladybugs which tackled some of the population. I then left FFT3 outside in the Canadian Maritime summer climate to clear out the remaining. Not an ideal finish but it better allowed me to clean up and salvage. I budwashed more than usual, detailed below, and did get product. More than other mited plants, FFT3 was stringy, brittle, and not much bud or bag appeal. Compared to the seed iteration, less trichomes because of mite activity. Overall, it suffered. I had another tester salvage this incident with much better quality. With cobwebbing and then budwashing you lose and scrub some outside flavour, usually the highly aromatic. Its clear FFT3’s selling point is the citrus, but if this is tainted there isn’t much else behind the strain. I got the faint citrus aroma, but upon grinding and vaping the lack of smell, smell of curing, and just bad life cycle made vaping bland and fairly unenjoyable. The high is moderate, not really what I’m looking for. Sativa leaning, but not strong. I certainly liked FFT3 when I did the full grow cycle from seed, but a mite war doesn’t produce great plants. Even moreso, the genetics can’t really stand up to concussive incident damage, and the smell is delicate - easily tainted. So, this clone experience was one of my worst during the Mite Wars.
