Power Plant is a beloved cup winner from the 1990s treasured for its energising effects and classic aromas. Descending from African landrace royalty, Power Plant first made its mark in the Netherlands where it became an instant hit among smokers, growers, and breeders. In fact, Power Plant can still be found on the menu of many Dutch coffeeshops, as well as across dispensaries in other parts of the world. While sativas are known to be tricky to grow and prone to nutrient issues and stress, Power Plant is an absolute breeze in the grow room. Despite descending from pure African landrace sativas, even Power Plant's height is easy to manage. Indoors, a bit of training is all it takes to keep Power Plant at modest heights of around 4ft. Her flowering time is also manageable indoors, with most Power Plant phenos reaching maturity after 9–10 weeks in bloom. Outside, Power Plant loves to stretch, developing towering colas and growing up to 7ft—ideal for large, sunny gardens in areas with long, hot, and humid summers. Indoors, this strain can yield up to 17.5oz/yd², while outdoor plants are usually ready for the chop in October and can deliver up to 24.5oz each. True to her sativa heritage, Zamnesia's Power Plant produces long, fluffy flowers with forest green calyxes, orange pistils, and a generous coating of icy trichomes.
