Apr 6: weekly foliar with Extreme Blend. Recovering nicely from the first step of mainlining done last week.
Apr 7: fourth node forming on both branches and will top again tomorrow.
Apr 8: second topping of manifolding process. Supercropped branches so that outer growth tips are below the inner ones. Wrapped super cropping point with floral tape which is stretchy and breathable. I’ve never tried manifolding or super cropping but it seems to be going well so far. Hopefully these three plants are all well suited to these techniques.
Changed from 20/4 to 18/6 to better match natural light cycle.
Apr 9: sprayed with 1 mL/L of fermented plant juice (FPJ) from cannabis tops.
The tops from mainlining last week were mixed with equal weight of brown sugar and left in dark for a week with a breathable lid. A bit of water to extract from plant material produced 10 mL of FPJ. I know from last year this can be quite potent so hopefully 1 mL/L in a foliar spray isn’t too much.
Apr 11: looking good, but I broke off one of the 8 growth tips while checking the tape on the supper cropping. C’est La vie.
Mars-hydro.com for the awesome FC-4800 light and tent which makes things pretty easy.
