4/20. Plant seems happy enough after the flush and pruning yesterday evening.
I’m not very good at following step by step instructions so my three mainlined plants all look a bit different. I was good up until 8 colas and then at 16 it went a bit wonky. This Candyland is maybe a bit too defoliated, the Bubble OG is about right, and Hash Bud is maybe still a bit too leafy. Never grown these before, nor done mainlining, so these plants might be too short for 16 colas to be a good choice. Whatevs, find out.
Apr 22: foliar Friday using Extreme Blend, and FPJ at half dose. Also some Epsom salts and a bit of Borax (<1/4 tsp in 3.5 L jug) as it could be a boron deficiency. This can cause the thickened lower leaves that this plant has and seemingly calcium deficient spots on big fan leaves. Likely not pH problems as I’ve been on top of that. Seems like the peony ring will work to separate the colas during flowering.
Apr 23: Borax did the trick meaning it was a B deficiency. Lower leaves are much better and the whole problem seems to be resolved. Doesn’t take much, but if B is lacking it’s very bad for plants.
Apr 26: the manifolding looks really good on this one. At least 16 quite evenly sized growth tips going so this could’ve awesome if I can keep it going outside. Maybe another week or 10 days and it should be warm enough to go outside for the afternoon at least.
Mars-hydro.com for the FC-4800 light and tent which makes my first indoor run pretty easy. Great stuff you should get and start the best hobby in the world.
