Was supposed to be a 16 cola manifold, but there was early frost damage that I had to cut back which means there are now about 30 tops. Not a fully symmetrical 32 but somewhere around 30.
July 28: applied foliar of LAB and potassium silicate about half an hour before covering for night. This was the last night of light deprivation and now back to natural light cycle.
July 29: major defoliation of the understory. Like pruning apple trees in the spring where you cut out the stuff that is growing in toward the centre of the plant. Should help a lot. Added second Scrog net to help keep the colas apart during ripening. Still so far so good.
July 31: another round of Power Bloom and malt as a top dressing. Started using soluble wood ash as a K source. See today’s Gorilla Gelato diary entry for details.
