'Glookies #2' by Barney's

Hello All! Gonna buckle down and wrap up the final Week of Bloom for Glookies and the other two. Will jump into Harvest Notes next week when they've all reached a two week cure (New rule!). Just like Gelato, this will essentially cover the final weeks all in one update (Roughly Days 49-Day 66/Chop). Anywho, enough talk, the Deets: The Good: -Absolute cruise control for these past couple weeks (or 17 days). It was a breeze and she took damn near no intervention or extra help. Smooooooth running and I'm more than happy with that👍. -The Fade! She turned in real well. Very little degradation in her final weeks, looking good and held her form like a champ. Strong laterals, minimal bracing, phat tops, stinky bud, sugary and still stacking to the bitter end. I am so impressed with this girl and if the smoke is half as good as the looks of her, this bud will be fire, for sure🙌 -Her profile did well in the end! She got nice and pungent even though I didn't get much of anything for the first 5 weeks there. Was a tad worried but no need to be. She caught up and her aroma definitely came through during end game. Thanks Glook! The 'Meh': -Gelato started to self seed, clear as day. She shares the FM8 tent with Glookies... Uh Oh😬. I dug through a sample bud and didn't find anything, but this didn't stop me from being paranoid (and for once I feel it was justified). I had a whole plan to dry in one unit and compile all the girls in the other. But with the Gelato seeding and Glookies paranoia, I didn't have the space all of a sudden. I don't have a drying area without that plan, so initial drying has been brutal. Will be working very hard to create a better dry area for Glook and the other ladies. Really don't want pop corn dry buds again. Notes of the Week: -Keep this short. Glookies is under observation but seems okay. Gelato seeding seems to be isolated and no one else is showing new signs of seed development. Chops are still scheduled the same, but Glookies will be run down faster to avoid any further issues and chopped before MS now. -Project #5 is already underway and doing pretty well. Trying new things again so there's speed bumps, but will hopefully get through it like I have before. Time will tell. Gotta pull back on the new methods again though. Too many new things at once. -It's been about -30 to -40 degrees for two-ish weeks and RH is a stupid 10-15%. Wreaking havoc on the girls and I'm struggling to keep things in balance. This is part of why I'm struggling and the girls aren't 100%. Supposed to warm up soon but the weather man keeps frigging lying to us! Tell us the truth Jerk! So! That's end game for Glookies. I haven't sampled her product yet, but she is knowing clean. Nice low run down and ripening. Should! be stellar but maybe I should hold onto my expectations, lol.
