'Glookies #2' by Barney's

Hello👋. This here be an update on Glookies but time stamps are 50/50, leading into Week four (Day 25). Time stamps are correct, however! Here's the Deets: The Good: -Glookies is making herself known and is stacking very well. I don't do anything with her but she forms, grows and plugs away all on her own. Besides some bracing and Defo, I do jack-all except feed the lady. -Impressive potential on all her tops. She's short(er) but is building very nice columns, bulking out, and defo is mandatory to open her up for light penetration. So much going on in such a small space... I didn't expect this at all, especially considering she has the smallest stem and thinnest laterals, but is just pushing incredible tops👍. She looks bigger and bigger everyday I look at her and this little one is on cruise control, sucking in her light and hasn't so much as dipped out once since the flip. She's loving Flower and I'm happy for her. The 'Meh': -Talked with a few people about it, and I do get a little off her now, but she has a very, very week terpene profile. The other girls are getting heavier and heavier, but little Glook just doesn't seem to be smelly. There's some Mercene there, along with maybe caryo(?), but doesn't really hit you at all. Whatever profile she does have is easily overwhelmed by the other girls. Hoping for a change and a stonger, more pungent plant in the coming weeks. -She's thick and lots of defo needs to be done over time. Just a little rainforest that's really hard to see through, but definitely need to keep up so there aren't humidity pockets and sweating between overlapped fans. Notes of the Week: -Everyone's doing pretty well right this week and right now. I've past the paranoia stage where I'm extra vigilant about hermies. No balls or nanners going into week 6 soon, so I think we're good👍 -Re-vamping my seedling process again... but honestly it has to be done. It's the one part of growing that I feel I still don't have down at all. I struggle and stunt them almost 100% of the time, losing days here and there. After 2.5-3 Weeks I'm on my way, but this initial process is painful for me. Did a lot of talking (of course) and started grilling multiple people on their methods, specifically people I could see that had amazing expedited growth early on, prepping them for a great Veg. Lots are on IG but @Philindicus answered a bunch of my questions and b/t everyone's input I've found a new method, medium and additive to help out. Canna family provides man, and thank you Phil for giving me your time. Will be following a few of your pointers and get this right👊 -One of two tent's genetics have been picked and I'm going to keep it simple, believe it or not. Will be running x2-3 LemonGrass and x2-3 Mango Sherbet by Humbolt Seed Company. Depending on whether I go 3 or 5 G fabrics, there will be 2 and 2 or 3 and 3. The other unit hasn't been decided yet, but will be moving on lemon and mango in about a week. Rebuilt and re-acclimated the prop tent so it's ready to go again and we can have a much faster turn over. Cutting a week off per grow and hopefully next round will be a full 3 weeks cut off by starting them elsewhere. -Bought a vaporizer from Arizer... Love it. Not wasting as much product now and still getting the job done without scorching my lungs. I do like cough lock however... and kinda miss it. Strange. -Where's my license Health Canada!😂 Going on 12 weeks and still waiting. I know it's with an agent, so there's that. At least I know they have it and are processing it👍. Anyways, I have these plans in my head and I'm ready to go. Just need that little piece of paper and I feel I'll be able to exercise my grow ambitions to their full extent✊. That's all she wrote folks! I'm going to quickly throw in a Week 1 here, but just ignore it, lol. It's a seedling... Not much else to look at. Will be the same photos and equipment schedules/materials/etc... between entries. In time I'll throw up a Germination Week...but that too will be copy paste and be more for Breeder notes and less about germination. Again, it's a seed... I use PT method and I'm positive the community doesn't HAVE TO SEE THIS FOR THE 1000th TIME! 😅 Anywho, cheers all and have a real good week with your projects and ambitions.
