I think you have thrips on the plant and in the soil. Here's a cheap hack for you. Put a 20 drops of Almond oil in 1 L. of water with a few drops of dish soap. put this liquid in small lids or trays and put it around your plants. Try to trap some with those sticky traps to see what your dealing with. Hope that helps. Chuck.
