Week 14!
Wow, it seems like this grow has been going on forever! We're trying to keep it interesting for you all! 😉
We're seeing pretty major deficiencies with Plant #1... although we're pretty sure that some of it is just due to the late flowering "fade".
With this being a "Fast Flowering" variety, Sweet Seeds states that this strain flowers in 6 weeks, so i guess fading at week 4-5 is reasonable.
The buds are looking very good. Maybe not quite as big as we expected but we think that we might have been a bit light on the feeding.
For this week, we're lowering temperatures a bit more and will likely continue feeding this week... possibly starting a 1-2 week flush next week? We'll see!
Day 92 (day 32 of flower):
- smell has gotten much stronger.
- lower leaves of Plant #1 have completely yellowed.
Day 93 (day 33 of flower):
- adjusted the AC duct so that the cold air isn't blowing directly on the fabric pots.
Day 94 (day 34 of flower):
- Plant #2 feels ready for watering. We'll wait until tomorrow to water.
- Temp: 68F (lights off), 77F (lights on)
- RH: 68% (lights off), 55% (lights on)
Day 95 (day 35 of flower):
- removed some of the dead and shriveled leaves from the lower part of Plant #1
- watered both plants with plain, dechlorinated tap water. Plant #1 received about 1 gallon, Plant #2 received about 2.5 gallons.
- did a 'gentle' squeeze test to one of the buds on each plant. They felt very firm and dense and the smell was intense and very sweet, with a pungent note that reminds me of some "Skunk" strains.
Day 96 (day 36 of flower):
- trichomes on Plant #1 are looking about 25% clear, 70% cloudy & 5% amber
- trichomes on Plant #2 are looking about 50% clear & 50% cloudy.
Day 97 (day 37 of flower):
- removed dead leaves from lower part of Plant #1.
Day 98 (day 38 of flower):
- Not much to report!
The week has gone pretty well. We're a little disappointed that we didn't catch the late flower deficiencies that were showing up at the start of the week. By the end of the week, both plants were showing a lot of yellowing of the leaves. We think that we haven't been feeding quite enough and probably haven't been watering as often as we should have, often only watering once a week.
The smell has really been developing this week and is much more intense and complex and pungent.
